Where’s my favorite hangout to read a book? An airconditioned coffee shop? No. A spacious library? No. A clean public park? No. I love to read books inside a public bus. Or any public vehicle.
Maybe I am just nostalgic.

This has been in my archive. I think I made this last 2008 pa when I was busy making ambigrams for clients. I missed this craft. Lately, I have been receiving requests to design ambigrams for them. If only I have plenty of time. But I’m working on a new ambigram project. Hopefully, it will look great once I finish.
This is a request from Quennie’s friend, Cecil. She was able to drop by my blog and asked if I can make one for her. So here it is. Finally, I used a different font. Most of the time, I use English or Gothic as the base for the ambigram font. Here, it’s taken from a Celtic font and modified it a bit. I like the e-c interlock in the middle.

A Nestle TV commercial confess that it pays to check the label. That is if you can read the label. A while ago, I had some instant noodles which I got from my officemate. It was a Maggi Perencah Kari from Malaysia. Maybe it’s hot and spicy since the label shows a red soup. But the color red can mean other things like strawberry flavor or red tea. Asian food has plenty of surprises.

I love dogs and grew up with pets dogs. We owned dachshund and a Spitz before. I don’t have a pet here in Manila since I don’t think I can take care of a dog properly. No one will feed the dog when I’m off to work.
While I love dogs, I just would like to pose a question and be enlightened. There are plenty of establishments that allows pets in their premises. Tiendesitas in Pasig and Bonifacio High Street in Taguig is a pet haven every day and I love watching them playing on the lawn or being pampered in a pet grooming shop. But are dogs allowed in the grocery section?

During the iBlgo6 where I gave a talk on the topics, Launching Successful Blog Contest, one question came up and I find myself was not convinced of my answer. I didn’t think I conveyed the message right.
The question was – Once you run a online contest, how do you keep the new readers who joined your contest for the first time to keep them coming back to your website?
My answer was disorganize but it was about giving compelling content. So the redeem myself, here’s a better way of saying it. For the reader to come back to your blog after a contest, it boils down to the content of your blog.
