What a mistake. I brushed off good offers hoping that I will have a better stake with my current job. All my what-if arguments were wrong. Projections were way above the reality. And I don’t think it is polite to knock on their doors again begging them to send me back the offer sheets.
Oh well, [...]

Ambigram – Paulo-Mona
I had a kick of creative juices flowing lately after seeing other bloggers who have been working with ambigrams for a year. Some of them are really successful with their hobby and are making a business out of it. I hope to get another commission to make one.
Anyway, here’s an ambigram for my officemates who [...]
Vote for Jimmy
It’s final and all is set. Papa will be joining the political arena. He is running for municipal councilor at Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Quite surpising to enter politics past his golden years. But im not that surprised. I know papa has a knack for public service. At several points in his life, I saw him volunteer and [...]
Sweet Politics
Tessie Oreta had a new advertisment released last week telling the people she was sorry for the “dancing” she did in the Senate during the Estrada trail last January 2001. Its amazing how people can still remember that episode clearly.
“Malaking pagkakamali yung ginawa kong iyon. Gusto kong humingi ng patawad.” She said these with matching [...]

Way Back Into Love
I have seen the movie “Music and Lyrics” starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. It was good. At first, I was disappointed that they only made one song together. I was expecting that they would make more hits and have them all in a soundtrack. That didn’t meet my expectation. Instead, they just made one [...]
Call Center Stress
Last week, there was a news of a man dying while in duty in a call center. I think this is the second time I have heard such news. I was amused why this is included in the news when work related deaths can happen very often in any industry.
Doctors believe that the death is [...]
Small Talks – 1
I heard that the company will provide monetary assistance if your spouse is giving birth. It’s about 25,000 Php. I thought, what if your spouse give birth four times in a year? Imagine, that will be 100,000 a year. How possible can it be?

Having a digital camera has one disadvantage. The only way to view your pictures is by using a computer or using the small LCD screen of your camera. If there are pictures you really like, you compile them into a screensaver and cycle those pictures into your monitor screen to it show it off to [...]
